Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy Football Analysis – Week 4

Week 4 – vs Baltimore – L 20-23

QB: Vick was okay but took a few too many sacks.  Still has the scrambling ability but not enough to matter much in fantasy, especially without the pass production.

RB: Bell another huge game as line was awesome.  Runs so well in traffic and just finds holes where there is nothing.  Maybe the best vision in the league.

WR: Brown held to below average numbers without Big Ben at QB.  Might be a sign of things to come.  Heyward-Bey a good game because of TD.  Bryant might have a short leach because of Heyward-Bey’s play so far.

TE: Miller almost nothing.  Might have to forget about him until Big Ben returns.

OL: Looked great run blocking.  Really did a great job opening holes and holding blocks.  Okay in pass protection.  QB made them look a little worse than they were.

Def: Run D was awful.  Just didn’t fill or contain well at all.  Pass rush was really good.  Coverage wasn’t.  Gave up good games to RB and #2 WR.

Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Football Analysis – Week 4

Week 4 – @ Pittsburgh – W 23-20

QB: Flacco below average in this one as his lack of quality targets to throw to caught up with him.  Can’t expect much from him until his teammates get healthy.

RB: Forsett looked great as line was giving him a ton of room.  Ran so good and managed to fall forward for extra yards so many times.

WR: Smith banged up and didn’t do much.  Aiken a good game and shows flashed but has no consistency.  Wouldn’t trust him yet and maybe ever.

TE: Gillmore DNP.  Nothing much to see here.

OL: Looked excellent run blocking.  Really opened holes and looked like last season’s line.  Pass protection had trouble with the blitz.  Just couldn’t pick up everything.

Def: Got ran over by elite run game.  Just couldn’t tackle Bell.  Helped by Big Ben not playing in holding passing to little.  Gave up huge game to RB and good game to #2 WR.  Held TE to nearly zero.
